What can I do to protect myself from the Silentbanker virus?
As new viruses are created each and every day, the best way to protect yourself from this type of fraud is to ensure that your computer has up-to-date anti-virus and anti-spyware software, web browser and firewall. Be sure to update your anti-virus program on a regular basis, update anti-virus definitions daily, scan all download files, programs, disks and attachments and only accept files and programs from a trusted source.
