Thank you for inviting Envision to contribute to your organization or initiative. Envision is proud of its strong commitment to its communities and strives to provide applicants with a fair process through which all applications are considered objectively and in a timely fashion.

In order to provide equal consideration to projects, we encourage all applicants to complete the on-line request form. Please feel free to use point form to provide as much information as possible.

At Envision, we evaluate every application on its individual merits. And due to the large volume of requests we receive, we have developed some guidelines and criteria for giving. Prior to submitting an application, please review the criteria below to assess whether your application fits within Envision's guidelines.

Our criteria

1. We accept applications from organizations that fit within the following categories:
   
   • community public service organization;
     
   • community not-for-profit arts, cultural, educational, recreational, or social services organization.
     
   • organization serving Envision's communities in a focused manner. Currently, these communities include Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Delta, Hope, Kitimat, Langley, Mission, and Surrey.
     
     
     
2. Restrictions to our funding include:
   
• Requests for donations/sponsorships are not funded when the recipient is an individual (for example athletes raising funds to attend the Olympics, etc.), as we prefer to concentrate our efforts on organizations serving a group of people.
  
• Beauty pageants are not funded.
  
• Funding is not provided for religious or political organizations and affiliated activities.
  
• Funding is not provided for ventures or organizations developing activities for profit. Activities must either be fundraisers or free community events. Organizations must be charitable organizations or not-for-profit groups.
  
• Funding is not provided for any group that represents a conflict of interest for Envision, or that promotes specific programs or issues where Members of the Credit Union may have significantly divergent views.
  
• Funding is not provided for operational costs, program funding, or for debt servicing.
